A Coaching and mentoring training program for managers was held at DSL premises on 3rd April 2024. This is pivotal in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within organizations. The program was designed to enhance our managers' abilities to support, guide, and develop their team members, ultimately driving individual and organizational success. The primary objective of this training program was to equip managers with the necessary skills to effectively coach and mentor their employees, ensuring they could provide constructive feedback, set achievable goals, and inspire their teams.
Key skills taught in the program include active listening, effective communication, goal setting, and motivational techniques. Managers learn to listen empathetically to their employees, understand their perspectives, and communicate clearly to provide actionable feedback. They are trained to assist employees in setting SMART goals—Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound—that drive performance and development. Additionally, motivational techniques are covered to inspire employees and encourage them to reach their full potential.
